Publish Open Access for free or with a discount: ACM

Outlines

Free open access publishing as from January 1, 2021

Corresponding authors from the Radboud University and radboudumc can publish their article or proceedings open access without extra costs. This applies to the complete ACM Digital Library. The deal started at January 1st and will last for 3 years.

How does it work?

1. All corresponding authors at Radboud University and Radboudumc, who use their institutional e-mail address, will receive an email from ACM when their publication is accepted.
2. In this letter, the corresponding author is informed about the possibility of open access publishing at no extra cost.
3. The email contains a link to the ACM eRights form. As a corresponding author, you can indicate that you want to use the ACM Open option. This option is prominently displayed on the form. You also indicate under which license you want to do this. NOTE: Only the CC-BY license is Plan S compliant!
4. On the next page of the form you can indicate additional conditions, as is always the case when a publication is accepted.
5. The corresponding author will receive confirmation of the choices made by e-mail.
