Library Guide Science: Staff

Help with searching, finding, and (re)use of appropriate scientific literature for the Faculty of Science students

  Who are we?

Liaison librarian for the Faculty of Science
Gonny Kremers is responsible for the entire Library of Science. The literature budget, subscriptions and purchase of books belong, among others, to her responsibilities.

Information specialists
Four information specialists work at the Library of Science. Information specialists give workshops, develop e-learning and support individual students and researchers in finding the right information. This includes questions such as: How do I prevent plagiarism? How do I get more out of Google Scholar? How do I start my literature search?

Service desk staff
Our hostesses Judith and Nel can help you with borrowing books and a laptop or headphone, among other things.

About Gonny:
I have been working at the Library of Science since 2002. A lot is changing these days. The digital library is growing and open access publishing is becoming increasingly common. We understand that a lively study environment with good facilities is important for students. They want to study in pleasant surroundings and collaborate on presentations and assignments. Some would rather work on their own using our e-learning modules. I find it inspiring to continue building on this with the team at the Library of Science, and in close collaboration with students, teachers and researchers. We are very excited to support education and research in the Faculty of Science.
