5.1 Zotero in your Word processor

Which processors?
The Windows version of Zotero 7 collaborates completely with Microsoft Word, In this word processor you can make use of the Word-Plugin.

Ultimately Zotero is intended to assist in writing manuscripts.
Zotero serves to make citing and referencing easier.
It also allows for easy switching from one bibliographic style (e.g. APA, MLA, Vancouver) to another.

With the installation of Zotero the Word-plugin should be installed automatically.
The program integrates into your word processor.
A Zotero tab will appear in Word:

Assignment 3: Writing a text in Word using Zotero

You can do this assignment after section 5.6


For this assignment you need an existing Zotero library (e.g. from one of the previous assignments),
and Word and Zotero should be installed on your PC.

  1. Open Word.
  2. Type a short text or copy a text.
  3. Add some references from an Zotero library in some places in this text.
  4. Make sure that the references are in the Vancouver output style.
  5. Now change the output style to APA 7th.
  6. Add a page number to one of the references in the text.
