 Software tools

Reference tools

A reference management tool can really save you time and effort. Use a reference manager to store the references you collect while searching and evaluating literature and / or data. You can compile your own bibliography (list of references), automatically formatted in the style of your choice (e.g. APA style). In addition these tools may help you to:

  • organize your references

  • directly import references to a publication in APA style from various databases or search engines

  • create and save your notes together with the reference to the publication you read

  • save files for your research

  • share your references with others
