Publish or Perish: Search & Results

Harzing's Publish or Perish tracks scholarly citations and calculates a number of citation and impact statistics

Explanation

In the results screen your search results appear:
  • Here you can sort the results by Cites, Per year, Rank, Authors, Title, Year or Publication.
  • You can't combine searches in different databases.
  • On the left you can check or uncheck the results and the metrics numbers change accordingly.
  • You can double-click on a result to go to the article page at the publisher’s site. There may not be access to the full text article depending on our library’s subscriptions
When you click on a result with the right mouse-button the next options appear:
  • Open Article in Browser: the article appears on the publishers site (also available by double-clicking on the title).
  • Open Citing Works in Browser: the data of the citing articles in Google Scholar appear.
  • Retrieve Citing Works in Publish or Perish: the data of the citing articles in Publish or Perish appear.
  • Copy Results:  As CSV, CSV with Header, For Excel, etc...
  • Save Results:  as BibTex, CSV, EndNote, ISI/WoS Export, JSON, RIS/RefManager, APA-, Chicago-, CSIRO-, Harvard-, MLA-, Vancouver Reference.
  • Uncheck CITATION results: sometimes you receive citations to articles in your results and not the articles themselves.
